Effective 2026-05-05. Cursivetool uses minimal cookies. This page lists every cookie we set, why we set it, and how to control it.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a small text file a website stores in your browser. Cookies have many legitimate uses (remembering preferences, securing logins) and some that users rightfully push back on (cross-site tracking).
Cookies we use
| Name | Purpose | Type | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|
theme | Remembers your light or dark mode choice | Functional, first-party | 1 year |
Cookies we do not use
- No advertising or remarketing cookies.
- No third-party tracking cookies.
- No fingerprinting beyond standard server logs.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics and Umami Cloud for anonymous usage stats. Both are configured to operate without cookies.
Managing cookies
You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the theme cookie will not break the site β it just means your preference resets to system default on each visit.
Updates
If we add cookies in the future (for example, when we introduce ads or accounts), this page will be updated and the "Effective" date refreshed.
